A few days ago we were watching a show on one of the science channels about how the ships that carry ore and coal on the Great Lakes were designed and built.They made mention of "SS The Edmund Fitzgerald" and it put me in mind of this song/poem
if you have never heard this , it's a tragically beautiful piece of work.This tribute was written soon after ,and the ship has been since located and marked.The reason for the sinking still in disagreement
Some like to criticize the meter but ,hey it fits the music.
