Well of Chaos

With a bump. Arrived home Tuesday evening to have a Dr appointment and treatment Wednesday morning. All good news \o/. Last treatment should be around Labor Day.
Vacation was everything we hoped. Played and shopped in Las Vegas for a week, took a couple of small road trips but mostly just wandered around and relaxed.
Lazed around Lake Havasu City made two trips to the Grand canyon, drove route 66, took pix of the London Bridge, laid around swimming pool a little and explored. Even saw a Cirque du Soleil show Monday night when we returned to Vegas to come home.Stayed at the Excalibur that night and visited a couple of places we'd missed before like The Paris, New York New York and Mandalay Bay.All in all, it was wonderful and relaxing and fun. Really didn't want to come home,but real life beckoned. Tim had to use the rest of his vacation time from last year so he's off this week and I don't return to work till Saturday...ugh that's tomorrow.
Still looking for a new job, especially to get back and find my schedule this week 3am till 10 Monday with one day later in the week. This cannot continue. Time to find a real job, with benefits and vacation and weekends off. Yea right...
When I get the pix loaded on my comp I'll make some photostories to share.

I have found it sort of weird that I now count down the dates of events by infusion appointments. So, it's one infusion (tomorrow), three work days and one Cinco de Mayo potluck till VACATION!
Next Monday we jet off to Las Vegas for a week and then drive to Arizona to spend a week at Lake Havasu. Yes, I know it will be hot, but right now I am finding it hard to care. I'll whine later.


\o/ I'm thinking we really deserve this one.


When I get back, I think I may look for a new job. I love people but watching grown women pitch tantrums over sale signs or coupons they didn't read correctly is harshing my squee...

~Survived ATV adventure, lovely ride actually, T was bored to tears...too bad.
~Spent a wonderful day exploring Mazatlan today, A lovely little lady made us tortillas with guacamole and salsa with some sort of white cheese. We saw saddles and sandals being made by hand and Tequila distillery. Many pix to post when I get home.
~Gotta fly, limited minutes and the seas are a little rough tonight.
~Tomorrow Cabo San Lucas!

~It's raining in the desert. Pretty sure it's our fault, we washed the car yesterday.

Schools closed again. Mini vacation for kids.
Real vacation starts tonight after we pass through airport security.

Bags packed, documents gathered,everything's ready to go.
