Waves - wow, it was hot in Anchorage today! But I got some nice shirts at Old Navy and tomorrow I'll hit B&N after my mom's appointment. Yay!

Thank you, and yes it was. Not in the house though...
Too many Home Health visits, today it will be cloudy because no one is coming by and I could get out in the yard.
I would love to spend an afternoon at B&N or even Borders( I usually go there while the kids have their teeth cleaned it's next to the office). Ah well, Mom is getting better so I can leave every once in a while now.
Oh wait, are you here? In Anchorage?

I was, but only briefly. My mom had a couple doctor appointments (nothing serious) and hates to drive up from Soldotna by herself so I drove her up. We managed to fit in a couple quick shopping trips though, so that was nice. Back home now and quickly trying to finish up the newsletter, it's definitely going to be a bit late this week!

No sparkles i this one ,just sharpened a duplicated screened layer twice, smoothed out his face, duplicated again set that layer to darken, adjusted the opacity till I liked the look and blurred the background.
Very easy. Try it. You may have to adjust the saturation depending on the picture.
