hey, that's a handy thing - would love to have one :) I'm still thinking about making mosaics from different tilings. Put the broken pieces of the tilings into the cement mixer for a while (with some sand) and the sharp edges will smooth. You could start making mosaics, so that the cement mixer is a nice thing for both of you ;))))

I was trying to think what I could use it for. I did a mosaic once upon a time. Not sure I'd have the patience for that these days I may try anyway, but you know six year olds and their new toys....

I saw some gorgeous garden stepping stones done from broken china embedded in cement tiles! I want to try this when I retire! And this may be TMI, but I'd like to make gravestones for my two old cats buried in my backyard. I have some little mosaic tiles to use... I'd like to try some day! I may need a cement mixer meself ; )

we'll have to replace our front walk after it's all torn up to put in the new porch complete wheelchair ramp.
We have hamsters buried in our backyard, alas, the gravestones are gone and a shed built over the spot, but the funerals were magnificent.
