Anchorage BIG is a city like many others. Five Malls, civic centers, urban dwellers, suburbs, traffic etc.
We live in an older established neighborhood as you can see from the '50-'60's style houses across the street. Hence the remodeling of an early 1960's style house.

I was worried about how ugly it could have been. Home improvements are supposed to be improvements after all..lol
She only partly pulled me down it the other day when we went to the Dr.
Shhh she didn't even notice.

It looks great! And it's a nice easy slope. I like the little flower pots on the corner. :)

It works wonderfully.. The little flower containers are left over from the old porch. It is an over the rail container with two little places for flowers. The railing is narrower on this one so I had to put it over the corner.Worked okay though. This one even has room for my bigger planters.
