I love Dahlias. Here they have to be planted every year. I guess the frozen ground just destroys the root. Same with most roses. I might be able to save them but storing them is problematical at best right now. I used to have dinnerplate dahlias *sigh* maybe next year I'll have time to plant more flowers. I missed having cut flowers in the summer.
