I have to say I am kinda relieved we decided not to sing this year, after a snow light as it may be so far, people just forget how to drive and driving downtown holds no happiness for me. Yep, we'll stay home and watch the snow fall and bake cookies or something, maybe watch The Snowmman or The Snow Queen.
Order our tickets and just watch The Messiah this year. All in all I think we'll need a little break from obligation and rush.

Wow! You've got a lot of snow already!

Every year when the first snow falls here, I figure that most Quebecers have forgotten where they live over the summer, there are so many fender benders. Morons! =>}

I've seen a few flakes so far. That's all.

Today was the first real snowfall. A little late maybe but that's okay. All Hallows Eve was beautiful clear and almost warm. Very nice for a change.

Our first real snowfall is usually a bit later than this, although lately, you never can tell. last year it was very late.

I'm hoping for a fair amount of snow this Winter. It protects our perennial flowers and bushes! =>}

I've been moaning to my sister about the cold and the snow all day, since it's been snowing on and off for the last two days. First snow this year and she's disgustingly ecstatic about it. (One of my many points why one of the two us has to have been adopted ;))

When I see your pictures I am very glad that it's still too warm here (depends on the person I guess *brrrr*) for a snow cover like that.

Wow - so much snow already. If that much snow fell here in the UK we'd all stay indoors for at least a week :~)

Actually this is the second snow fall the first rarely sticks and the second usually blows away, but this year we sorta skipped the usual second because the first was late.
Snow is almost always here to stay by Oct 31.
We do have an early warning system called Termination Dust.
We watch the snow slowly make its way down the mountains in the late fall.
