Took me a while to get back to this. This weekend was full of Thunderbirds in the sky, celebrations and festivals all over the city as The 50th Anniversary of Statehood was marked the 28th.
Yesterday was my eye appointment and only slightly bad news there. A little raise in my reading portion of my glasses, but I have to get a field vision test because of the higher pressure in my eyes. She's sure it's probably stress (go figure)
and not really concerned but felt it should be done in the next few months.
Now to the piccies.

Another baby iceberg in Portage Lake

Portage Glacier Observation

Another glacier seen from the same place

Closer shot of snow on the glacier (can't remember it's name)

On the road home a place you can pan for gold (for a price)

A shot of rock outcropping off the road

Same from another angle (flying by)

He posed before taking off.

This Arctic Tern was pitching a fit over where we were parked. Too close to a nest maybe?

I really don't know. It's some sort of water fowl.

I should have looked it up but T wouldn't stop any more and the ID sign was where we weren't.
When we first went out there when I was a child The Glacier was came right down to the road where the parking lot is now.
