Oh wow that was brilliant! I loved all the photos. The scenery was just gorgeous.

Glad you like it. I used Photo Story 3. We use it for all our vacation etc pictures. You can even set them up to play on a standard DVD player.

LOL I started out with the ever popular Canon in D which is used a lot for Alaskan scenery but the trip was way more exciting than that. So Allman Bros.
If your picture story is longer you just add more music till the end. Really fun to play with.
It doesn't do a lot for the quality of the pictures though.

What a lovely way to present your pictures! I will have to look into that link *plot* *plot*. Well, I'll have to direct my husband to it, anyway -- I'm rather technologically hopeless. Still trying to figure out how to post a picture on LJ!

Which posting page do you use Rich Text or HTML?

Errrrr, I have a choice? Okayyyyy.... *looks at place where I post* Oh my! There *is* a choice! When did that happen? Well, it seems to default to HTML, which is what I've always used anyway for bolding, italics, etc. I peeked at the Rich Text version and it looks kind of like Word or something... imagine that. Is that why people can use colorful text and all that?

I have *got* to play around in LJ more instead of doing it all by rote!

Yep.Personally, I prefer to do it myself but that is way easier.On the rich text page There is a little square picture in the selection field, select that to insert image or
On the html page select the little button at the top of the posting field that says insert image.
Your files will open and you can find the folder that has your pictures and click on the one you want. Try it out.
