Your intermittent service is making me feel quite stabby today and that is saying something as I am very even tempered and forgiving (stop that cackling!).
Although it may be, that having my port missed twice today by new nurse resulting in a one inch needle plunged into my chest (twice well, three times if you count the actual access) may have made me a little less patient with you and your hacker problems than usual.
But still who or what ever is responsible, CUT IT OUT!

Also, I have DW invites.
That is all...Well for now.

Ouch to the needles. That sounds most unpleasant.

I'm trying to be understanding about LJ disappearing into the ether because it's not their fault that they're being DDOSed to hell and back. It's still frustrating, however.

"Ouch to the needles" Thank goodness for Emla Cream it's numbing power makes me very happy... so it's uncomfortable rather than painful.

I know it's not entirely their fault, but I wouldn't be really surprised if their tendency to piss people off may have had something to do with it all.

How are the treatments going, sweetie?

Treatments are usually uneventful and only about 30 minutes, but today a snowstorm and needle drama. I really felt sorry for the poor nurse, she tried so hard.But now I know what they mean when they say make sure and tell them if something doesn't feel right or hurts.
The Herceptin infusions have minimal side effects( compared with the other ones I was getting) and will end in Sept.
Oh, and my hair is growing back, I may actually have to shave my legs next week!:lol:

September seems like a long time -- how often do you get the treatment? But I'm glad that it sounds as if you're doing well. ::hugs::

I go in every three weeks, it's a targeted therapy that lasts a full year.
I feel great but never really felt too bad.\o/

I see my update to my post never quite made it either.Guess I'll have to fix that here, I know it's not really ljs fault but annoying none the less.
As for the nurse she was a new addition and I really felt sorry for her. She isn't the first one to miss twice either, we just blamed it on the placement and say that I as am quite blessed in the tata department...*g*

It did make me a little *um shall we say not as gracious as usual?
I'm over it now, fortunately I saved all the bitchiness for my journal once I got home and found I couldn't access it again.
Over that now too *g* Just needed to get it off my chest.
