Half of the list has happened in my lifetime and it's striking how the vast majority have been around the Pacific Rim. It's worrisome how the quakes are getting worse and coming closer together.

Wanted to shake an 'analyst' on CNN a few minutes ago, when he was saying that a seven plus magnitude quake a day ago should have been seen at the time as a fore shock. Idiot, can only see foreshocks in hindsight. And what could they have done anyway? Can't predict a quake of this magnitude.

Now they're saying Fuji might erupt in the next month as a result of this. Poor, poor people.

Good grief. 7+ usually is the quake.
We are coming up on the anniversary of the Good Friday quake and people are talking about how way overdue we are for a big shake.
Makes me want to put all the breakables away, but who can live like that?
