The last three weeks have been OMG cold.
That's when you go outside to start your car and the first thing out of your mouth (even with no-one around to hear) is: Oh. My. God! it's COLD!
Three weeks of sun.
Could we not have had these beautiful sunny days in the summer? Evidently not.
We had maybe six days of sun and now when sunny is bad we have no clouds. It will top 9 degrees F today but, at least the wind has stopped blowing.
Next week I work till Friday and then Friday night we leave on vacation. Two weeks, one in New Orleans( not really vacation, visiting relatives) followed by a seven day cruise to re-acquaint ourselves to each other.
I hope this weather doesn't follow us south. We would never be forgiven.

Yikes!::shudders just thinking about it::
It's an extremely rare event for it to get that cold here. Hubby's uncle is swearing we are going to get it soon though. He's doing his little weather dance in Spokane to get the cold air away from him for the month he has left before he heads to the Phillipines for the winter.

Pretty rare here this time of year.Usually a couple of very cold weeks in February, but not usually November.
I miss the snow...

I'd send you some of our sun - and our heat - if I could. It reached high 30s this week, has cooled down a tad, but I'm dreading February...

I'd send you some of our sun
Sun we got, we could go blind in the brightness of the white winter sun.
This afternoon, we were taking a plate of turkey to my Mom and passed a time and temp sign.
It said: Time 4:01 pm temp COLD!
It's -6 F right now.
We need clouds, it's so much warmer when it's cloudy.
Thanks for the thought though. Next weekend I'll probably whine about the heat... well maybe not.

Three weeks of sun
If you'd move down here to Florida, I could guarantee you many, many more weeks of sun.
Have a lovely time.

I've already lived in Florida.
The sun there means very, very, hot. Open the car door to African hot.
The sun in the winter here means very, very cold let the car warm 25 minutes for heat cold.
I can't seem to live anywhere moderate...
Such is my lot, I couldn't give up the mountains again.
