Who needs a dog?

When you have a teenage boy in the house?I had to pick up the"brain-trust"otherwise known as "the bottomless pit with a space that folds" from school.He wanted to be in a picture ,"bt" jumps and someone trips him.He falls.$480.00 later we find out he has an A-C joint separation.What the heck is that?A sling and physical therapy, he'll be good as new in 3 weeks ,but I may never be the same (or is that sane?).
